We value your privacy at BasePack. You have full control over your data, including the right to delete your entire account or specific portions of your data.
1Delete Your Entire Account
This will permanently remove your profile and all data associated with BasePack across all our servers. This action is irreversible.
Mobile App
Open the BasePack mobile app.
Go to Settings → Profile.
Tap 'Delete Account' at the bottom.
Verify via password or OTP.
Immediate Effect: Account deletion results in the immediate, permanent removal of your profile and data from our active database. This cannot be undone.
Only want to delete specific data?
You can request to purge specific data (like your history or journals) without closing your entire account.
Specific Data DeletionWhat data is affected?
When you request deletion, we purge the following categories of data from BasePack servers:
Authentication Data
Encoded password, email, and authentication tokens.
Personal Profile
Username, avatar image, bio, and social links.
Packing Lists
All list names, items, weights, and categories.
Gear Inventory
Complete gear library and linked specifications.
Trip Journals
Written logs, trail stats, and GPS maps.
Media Assets
All uploaded photos and file attachments.
Data Retention Policy
Once you confirm deletion, your data is permanently deleted from our servers immediately. We do not retain any user data after deletion except where required by law for financial records (subscriptions).
